Texans backup running back Alfred Blue is considered unlikely to play Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers due to a concussion, according to coach Bill O'Brien.
Blue remains under the NFL concussion protocol. Blue has rushed for 60 yards on 25 carries and caught three passes for 18 yards.
Meanwhile, O'Brien said that wide receiver Braxton Miller is trending toward playing Sunday.
Miller suffered a relatively mild concussion Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. He's coming off a career-high 71-yard receiving game on four catches.
Miller has 16 catches for 148 yards and one touchdown this season.
