The Texans lost their fifth straight road game Sunday, falling in a war of attrition at Tennessee.
For the second consecutive week and third time in their past four defeats, the Texans had a chance to take the lead or tie on their final possession, but failed to make it happen. Once again, they struggled in the red zone, going 1-for-3.
The loss dropped the battered Texans to 4-8, guaranteeing a non-winning season for the first time since 2013 and essentially wiping out any playoff hopes that remained.
