The 22-year-old played 90 minutes against his former loan club Valencia on Wednesday night, when the Reds were disappointingly on the wrong side of a 2-1 scoreline. However, it was the first time the midfielder has played a full match since the opening game of the season against Leicester City.

Speaking after the defeat in Spain, the midfielder said he wants to become a more permanent fixture in Jose Mourinho’s side.

“I'm hungry for more. I'm trying to do my best, to keep being involved in and out, each and every week,”

Andreas told MUTV.
