The New York Knicks and Houston Rockets were at a stand still for weeks over Carmelo Anthony. That’s no longer the case.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the two teams have “re-engaged” on trade talks involving the ten-time All-Star.
Woj reports that the same obstacles remain. Houston needs someone to take on Ryan Anderson’s large contract. Nobody wants to owe $60 million for the next three years right now to a one-dimensional player.

Per Woj, new general manager Scott Perry “has been far more particular” than Phil Jackson about the return necessary to get the superstar scorer.
