For the Seattle Mariners, spring training is no longer in the future. It has arrived in Peoria, Arizona, and the vibes are already off the charts.
It's mostly the same team as the one that went to Game 7 of the ALCS last year, save for a few new additions. To this end, it's meet-and-greet time for Brendan Donovan, who quickly made an impression after arriving early on Wednesday.
There is bound to be a steady trickle of newsworthy developments coming out of Peoria in the days and weeks to come. But for these early days, the best news out of Mariners camp is actually more of a "no news" situation.
