The IIHF has gotten on the ref cam bandwagon at this year’s World Championships, and yesterday they released a video compilation of some of the best moments.
There’s a lot to enjoy here, especially in terms of vocalizations (refs make some really weird noises, it turns out!) but my favorite part has to be the one referee untucking Nino Niederreiter’s jersey for him. It’s full-service refereeing at the World Championships, apparently.
On the other side of the Atlantic, the NHL playoffs are grinding onwards to their inevitable conclusion: an offseason of one insufferable fanbase and 30 disappointed ones.
