EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Western Michigan gymnastics tied for its third-highest bars score in program history as the team wrapped up a tri meet at No. 11 Michigan State on Sunday afternoon.
The Broncos (8-6) put up a score of 195.225, the third-straight meet they have posted a 195 or higher, to the Spartans' 197.250 and #24 Maryland's 196.200.
Bars was the highlight of the meet for Western Michigan, with the team posting a score of 49.075 and besting both MSU and UM. Individually, juniors Kate Parks and Julie Korfhage tied for third place with a score of 9.
